Refund Policy
Fractal Corp ("we") wants you to be satisfied with DetailOS. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for a paid subscription.
30-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your DetailOS subscription, you can request a full refund within thirty (30) days of your initial order date. The guarantee applies to your first paid subscription on an account.
How to request a refund
Our orders are processed by our Merchant of Record, Stripe. To request a refund:
- Go to Stripe billing portal and look up your order using the email address you used at checkout, or
- Email us at support@detail-os.com with your order ID and the reason for your request, and we will coordinate the refund with Stripe on your behalf.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing typically completes within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or via Stripe, and you will keep access through the end of the current billing period. Renewal charges (after the first 30 days) are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or in cases of clear billing error — please contact us if you believe you were charged in error and we will work with Stripe to resolve it.
Customer payments
DetailOS lets you accept payments from your own customers through your connected payment processor (e.g. Stripe). Refunds to your customers are handled by you through that processor; Fractal Corp is not a party to those transactions.
